Armiyadi is in its third generation of cultivating Gayo coffee. This 3-hectare farm uses a unique hedge planting system to maximize the number of trees per hectare. Sufficient shade and organic fertilizer, of goat and cow manure fermented with coffee skin waste, is used for soil maintenance.

After picking, the cherry is pulped and allowed to ferment for 12 hours. It is then washed four times and dried until the moisture content reaches 35%. Next it is hulled and left to dry until it reaches 12% moisture. Lastly, it is sorted.

This farm has become a place of learning, educating farmers on how to hedge plant their coffee trees as a way to increase the productivity of their farm.
