Granja Paradiso 92, Red Bourbon Washed - Colombia

The name Wilton Benitez is synonymous with quality. A former chemical engineer, he has brought his skills to coffee processing. Over the past years, he has gained a reputation worldwide for producing exceptional coffee. His processing facilities, which resemble laboratories, provide a convenient way to analyse the chemical composition of his products.

Granja Paraiso 92, located on the flat terrain of Peindamo, is the smallest of the three Wilton’s farms, at just 5 hectares. It has taken its name from the word ‘paradise’ which represents their commitment to producing only coffees that score 92 or above.

This washed process coffee comprises of ripe coffee cherries that are de-pulped, and washed, removing all fruit pulp surrounding the coffee beans. As with all coffee from Wilton Benitez, he has applied precise techniques during the processing stage, drawing out the process by controlling the level of fermentation applied to the coffee. This brings forward bigger flavours to the cup, which we love. Expect fruity and floral flavours, with a balanced sweetness that fills every cup with bright flavours and a juicy body.
