Chris (Happy Valley Vinyl & Bookstore - Collingwood) and Jono (Wide Open Rd) go way back, all the way to the late ‘90s. Before coffee roasting, before cafes, before Happy Valley was even an idea. Chris was running Polyester Records and his indie label Candle Records out of North Fitzroy.  Jono was making film clips for some of the bands on the label.

It was a scene — late nights, live sets, a community built on music and DIY energy. Now, years later, they’ve come together again. This time, over coffee.

Self-Titled is the result. A limited release espresso blend that’s smooth, balanced, and just a little nostalgic. The kind of coffee you want to keep coming back to.

• Mexico, Washed process | Typica, Bourbon. Mundo Novo
  Sweet, clean, with gentle floral acidity
• Brazil, Natural process | Yellow Bourbon
  Full-bodied with chocolate and raisin notes.
• El Salvador, CM Honey process | Pacamara
  Bright and smooth with soft stone fruit character
