This coffee brings together two powerhouse specialty coffee producers from Brazil and Ethiopia.

Chelbessa comes from the Gedeb area of Yirgacheffe, in Ethiopia where coffee is grown by smallholder farmers on tiny garden plots under dense shade. The area is known for its high elevations, abundant water, and semi-forest vegetation, all of which help slow cherry maturation and contribute to the clarity and aromatic lift that Yirgacheffe coffees are known for.

Fazenda Recreio is located in São Sebastião da Grama, in Brazil, an area known for its altitude, fertile soils, mild climate, and favourable sun exposure. The farm has been in the Teixeira de Macedo family since 1890 and has built a strong reputation for quality, with its coffees receiving recognition in competitions and through long-standing relationships in specialty coffee.
