Lazaro Escalante runs Finca El Coyol and Finca El Coyol 2 in Cuilco, a beautiful region of Huehuetenango known for its coffee farms. He mainly grows Caturra and Bourbon, but he's also experimenting with new hybrids. Lazaro’s committed to looking after the land—maintaining both the coffee plants and the surrounding native forest. Coffee growing is his livelihood, and he takes pride in producing top-notch beans. His dedication to sustainable practices ensures that the coffee not only tastes great but is also grown with respect for the environment.

Reuben Hills was established in 2012 as a boutique micro roastery based in Surry Hills NSW. They travel to coffee producing countries around the world meeting farmers, cupping their coffees and selecting beans to showcase to Australian customers. 

As a small business, they pride themselves on supporting coffee producers, ensuring a more sustainable income and lifestyle for their families and communities.
