This special coffee is a single producer lot, a rarity in coffees from Ethiopia. Bekele Gemeda the producer of this coffee is incredibly grateful to be recognised as a result of the care he puts into his coffee.

Bekele Gemeda is a resident of a small village called Worka, within the famed Yirgacheffe region. He owns 9.5 hectares of coffee land in two separate parts of the town. He works full time on his farm assisted by his children. Mr Bekele, who is the father of 11 children, fully relies on the income he generates from his coffee farm. The coffee farm business also supports his two elder married sons who also work together with him.
