La Granada, in Acevedo, Huila, has long been a standout farm for Pink Bourbon, thanks to the dedication of Don Gabriel Castaño. This is one of Reuben Hills’ favourite Pink Bourbon lots ever, and they are always excited to receive it each year. Don Gabriel, who sadly passed away earlier this year, laid the foundation for the farm’s exceptional coffee, and his son now carries on the family tradition with the same care and attention. This lot delivers lifted citrus, juicy red fruits, and a gentle boozy sweetness, showcasing the varietal’s signature vibrancy.

Cherries are hand-selected, de-pulped, and fermented in bags for 100 hours before 60 hours of mechanical drying. The cup is clean and refined, with delicate acidity and a smooth mouthfeel. La Granada is approachable yet memorable, a classic Pink Bourbon that rewards careful brewing, and a lasting testament to Don Gabriel’s legacy.
