Sol de la Mañana

This coffee was grown by participants in Sol de la Mañana. This visionary program was founded by Market Lane's supply partners, the Rodríguez family, after local producers approached them, asking for farming advice and guidance. “We realised we had a responsibility in not only managing our own farms, but also helping the producers that had been delivering coffee to us for many years,” Pedro Pablo Rodríguez told us. 

The family created a comprehensive curriculum, which includes instruction on plant cultivation and coffee-picking, as well as monthly farm visits from a leading agronomist. The impact of the program has been profound – participants have seen a significant improvement in their coffee, and they are now able to receive sustainable prices from quality-focused roasters.

This sweet and creamy lot is made up of peaberry beans, which are small, round and dense with big, vibrant flavours.
