Fazenda Progresso is a beautiful farm nestled in the Chapada Diamantina mountain range in the heart of Bahia, sitting at 1,150 masl. This elevation plays a key role in the quality of the beans, as does the average temperature variation of 10°C, with hot days and cool nights, providing the ideal conditions for slow cherry maturation, giving time for natural sugars to develop, resulting in a sweet and complex cup.
Owned by the Borré family who have been in business for three generations, the farm's history dates back to 1984 when the Borré family started successfully growing potatoes. In 2005 they diversified and began to focus on coffee. Spearheaded by the family's youngest son Fabiano, the coffee program was born with a total of 530 hectares dedicated to coffee. Over the last decade, Fabiano has continued to experiment and invest in equipment and processes that will improve the quality of his coffee.
The Borré’s motto is ‘Mindful Coffee’, describing their commitment to excellence, innovation, and environmental and social responsibility.
Based in Adelaide, Two Fish Coffee have been involved in roasting, brewing and enjoying coffee for nearly 8 years. During that time they have become convinced that you can never have too much good coffee!
Their love of coffee borders on obsessive and when they aren’t enjoying coffee, they are thinking – maybe even dreaming about it! They are constantly searching for coffees that are beautiful, unique and of course, delicious.
Besides tasting incredible, it is essential that their coffees are sourced ethically and sustainably.
