World Coffee Day (1 October) is about celebrating the powerful elixir that fuels most of our mornings. However, today I want to celebrate the innovative use of our morning by-product, to create a new type of concrete that has the potential to divert 75 million kg of landfill waste in Australia alone.
This innovation is being led by a team at RMIT with the grounds being poured into the Pakenham Roads Upgrade.
Certainly worth celebrating today!
