This coffee comes to from the Brejetuba region of Espirito Santo, Brazil, where Marcos Costa looks after his farm, Corrego do Pinheiro.

This washed process lot is a Catucai selection, and breaks away from the stereotypical Brazilian flavour profile of cocoa and peanuts, offering notes of maple syrup, roasted plum, and baker's chocolate instead.

Working together, Marcos and his brother have chosen to focus on specialty coffee production at the farm they inherited from their father.
