The washing station receives ripe cherries from around 750 smallholder farmers across Dambi Uddo and neighbouring communities.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt 1,850 masl, with contributing farms reaching around 2,050 metres, the cool growing conditions encourage slow cherry maturation, helping develop sweetness, density and complexity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRipe cherries are carefully selected and dried whole for 15–18 days, with regular turning, controlled airflow and protection from the strongest midday sun.
